Conference USA Welcomes WKU

All throughout yesterday (of course, being WKU’s first official day as a member of Conference USA), some of the WKU sport-specific twitter accounts were retweeting welcomes from their respective sports from the conference. You can see all of them below.

Also, if you’re not already doing so, make sure you’re following each of the sport-specific accounts. The @WKU_Gameday account has undergone a name change – now @WKUSportsPics – which leads me to believe that there will be a greater emphasis on live tweets and news coming from individual pages as opposed to having one big hub. Also, on days where basketball, volleyball and football are all playing at once, it’ll clear up some confusion.

Men’s Basketball (@WKUBasketball)

(ed note – remember beating FIU in 2013 for the Sun Belt title? That was great.)

Baseball (@WKUBaseball)

Women’s Basketball (@LadyTopperHoops)

Volleyball (@WKUVolleyball)

Soccer (@WKU_Soccer)

Softball (@WKUSoftball)

As you can tell, a whole lot of welcomes from former Sun Belters FIU, also Rice, UTSA and LA Tech every now and then. Instant friends! Also, notice who didn’t welcome us back. Yeah, they mad.
